Canal Art Painting Roses Workshop with Fred Worthington

With the help and guidance from Fred Worthington, learn the basic techniques for painting roses in the traditional style of ‘Canal Art’.
Originally from Salford, Fred has been a sign writer and Canal Art artist since the age of 15.
Fred runs 3 levels of Canal Art Workshops with this one is designed for all beginners.
During this workshop, you will learn a brief history of Canal Art and work on your own canvas. You will learn how to plan out your design in chalk and then paint with enamel paints.
You will take home your traditional art piece at the end of a creative day of painting!
All paints, brushes and materials are included.
Please bring your lunch. Tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.
It is advisable to wear old clothing however, gloves and aprons are provided.
