I have been potting for over 15 years which all began when my wife brought me a voucher for Ebberston Studios. The first building technique was hand building which progressed to wheel throwing. I believe clay is such a forgiving medium that anyone can make and decorate a piece and with a little patience, can even throw one. More recently I am starting to produce range of items including larger thrown pieces from my converted garage studio, with the inspiration of the coast, resulting in me using glazes in conjunction of fluxes to help represent nearby sea.
